Privacy Policy

This policy explains how StaveMD (“we,” “us”) handles your information on stavemd.com. Clinical care, prescriptions and payment are provided through our healthcare partner, OpenLoop Health, under its own Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

• Assessment answers. When you complete an assessment on this site, we store your answers, contact details and date of birth so our team can prepare your order with our clinical partner and contact you about it.
• Payment details. If you save a card, it is held by Stripe. We keep only a reference to it and never see the card number.
• Usage data. Standard analytics and advertising measurement collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Health information

Your assessment answers are health information. We use them only to prepare your order and to contact you about it, and we share them only with our clinical partner and the service providers that store them for us. We do not sell health information and do not use it for advertising. Answers are deleted after your order has been entered, or after 60 days if it has not been.

Once your care begins, your medical record is held by OpenLoop Health and its affiliated medical groups and protected under HIPAA. Your rights to access, copy and correct that record are described in its Notice of Privacy Practices.

Text messages

If you tick the optional text box on our order form, we text you about your order, refills and shipping from the StaveMD number (669) 202-1955. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Full terms are in the Text message terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the text-message provider that delivers our messages for us.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure site usage and advertising, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (text typed into forms is masked). Your assessment answers are never sent to these services. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it with our clinical partner, with service providers that host, store and process it for us (each bound by contract, including a Business Associate Agreement where required), and where the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Rights over your medical record are exercised through your care team or the patient portal. Email hello@stavemd.com and we will route your request to the right place.
